Fokkers and more bombard Adelaide Airport

Due to the Fremantle Dockers playing in the 2013 AFL grand Final on September 28,  over the course of the week  there was a bombardment of regional aircraft fro Western Australia fly over to Melbourne carrying loyal fans to the big game.

On September 29th all the chartered aircraft made their way from Melbourne back to Perth with a large amount of the aircraft stopping into Adelaide for a refuel...

Alliance Airlines F28-0100 VH-FKF arrived ex. Essendon at 08.40hrs as 'QQ557'. After a quick refuel the aircraft departed to Perth at 09.55hrs under the same flight number.

Alliance Airlines F28-0100 VH-FKJ arrived ex. Essendon at 11.00hrs as 'QQ561'. After a quick refuel the aircraft departed to Perth at 11.45hrs under the same flight number.

Network Aviation F28-0100 VH-NHJ arrived ex. Essendon at 12.30hrs'. After a quick refuel the aircraft departed to Kalgoorlie at 13.25hrs.

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines F02-0100 VH-FNT arrived ex. Melbourne, Tullamarine at 13.20hrs as 'VA9950'. After a quick refuel the aircraft departed to Perth at 14.10hrs under the same flight number.

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines F02-0100 VH-FSQ arrived ex. Melbourne, Tullamarine at 13.30hrs as 'VA9948'. After a quick refuel the aircraft departed to Perth at 14.55hrs under the same flight number.

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines F02-0100 VH-FNR arrived ex. Melbourne, Tullamarine at 15.25hrs as 'VA9964'. After a quick refuel the aircraft departed to Perth at 16.20hrs under the same flight number.

Cobham Aviation RJ100 VH-NJH arrived ex. Essendon at 12.40hrs as 'NC5521'. The aircraft departed at 13.40hrs to Kalgoorlie using the same flight number.

Cobham Aviation Bae146-300 VH-NJN arrived ex. Essendon at 13.20hrs as 'NC5523'. The aircraft departed at 14.20hrs to Kalgoorlie using the same flight number.

Cobham Aviation Bae146-200 VH-NJG arrived ex. Essendon at 13.45hrs as 'NC5525'. The aircraft departed at 14.40hrs to Kalgoorlie using the same flight number.

In addition to the 6 F100's to pass through Adelaide on Sunday. A 7th made a visit with Virgin Australia Regional Airlines F028-0100 VH-FZO arrived ex. Melbourne as 'VA398' at 20.30hrs. The aircraft then continued to Perth under the same flight number at 21.10hrs.

Revesco Pty Ltd Gulfstream 4 VH-TXS makes a visit

Revesco Pty Ltd Gulfstream 4 VH-TXS arrived from Perth at 21.30hrs on 25/9/13 and departed back to Perth at 23.25hrs.

On 26/9/13 the aircraft returned again from Perth arriving at 17.15hrs and departed at 18.30hrs back across the NMullabor

Sutherland Aviation Gulfstream 4 VH-WXK arrived from Brisbane at 17.30hrs. After night stopping the aircraft departed to Perth at 22.20hrs. This was WXK's 1st visit to Adelaide

Regional Express Saab 340B VH-ZXS (1st Visit)

Regional Express Saab 340B VH-ZXS arrived ex. Mount Gambier at 08.25hrs as 'ZL4612', it the departed back to Mt. Gambier at 09.05hrs as 'ZL4617'. The aircraft the returned back to Adelaide and operated flights to Port Lincoln and Ceduna.

This is ZXS's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft still wears its former Happy Air (Nok Mini) livery where it spent sometime back in 2011.

Singapore Airlines A330-300 9V-STW (1st visit)

Singapore Airlines A330-300 9V-STW arrived ex. Singapore as 'SQ279' at 08.25hrs. It departed to Singapore at 10.50hrs as 'SQ278'.

This was STW's 1st visit to Adelaide since it was delivered on Saturday 14/9/13. This was also the aircraft's 1st visit to Australia.

Qantas A380 VH-OQA diverts to Adelaide

Qantas A380-800 VH-OQA operating 'QF10' From Dubai to Melbourne arrived into Adelaide at 04.30hrs. The aircraft departed to Melbourne at 06.25hrs.

This was OQA's 1st visit to Adelaide since 17th October 2008 when it completed its final training flights prior to it entering service with the airline.

Wells Fargo Bank Gulfstream 150 N150GD arrived at 12.25hrs and after a short turn around departed at 13.00hrs.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide.

Emirates B777-200LR A6-EWD (1st Visit)

Emirates B777-200LR A6-EWD arrived ex. Dubai at 20.05hrs as 'EK440'. The aircraft departed to Dubai at 22.10hrs as 'EK441'. This service is usually operated by a B777-300ER.

This is EWD's 1st visit to Adelaide. It is also the 1st scheduled B777-200LR to visit Adelaide, the last and only B777-200LR to visit Adelaide was a diversion when Emirates B777-200LR A6-EWE diverted to Adelaide in 2011 due to fog in Perth.

Virgin Australia B737-800 VH-YIV arrived ex. Sydney at 17.40hrs as 'VA428'. The aircraft departed back to Sydney at 18.30hrs as 'VA437'.

This was YIV's 1st visit to Adelaide since it was delivered to Australia on 22/8/13.

Cathay Pacific Airways A330-300 B-LBB arrived at 09.45hrs ex. Hong Kong as 'CX105'. The aircraft departed at 11.15hrs to Melbourne as 'CX104'.

This was LBB's 1st visit to Adelaide. B-LBB is the 1000th Airbus A330 produced, there is small titles on the aircraft noting that milestone (as seen in the photo above). 

Emirates B777-300ER A6-ECO (Diversion)

Emirates B777-300ER A6-ECO operating 'EK408' from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne diverted to Adelaide this evening. The aircraft arrived at 23.50hrs after a short time on the ground the aircraft before departing at 01.10hrs continuing its trip to Melbourne
