Alliance Airlines F70's VH-QQR and VH-JFB swap and go

Alliance Airlines F028-070 VH-QQR arrived at 09.05hrs from Brisbane at 'QQ571'. The aircraft departed to Perth at 11.55hrs as 'QQ992'.

This was QQR's 1st visit to Adelaide and the 6th Alliance F070 to visit Adelaide overall.

Later in the day fellow F28-070 VH-JFB arrived from Perth as 'QQ991'. The aircraft to Brisbane at 16.15hrs as 'QQ572'.

This was not JFB's 1st visit to Adelaide. Possibly although not confirmed 2nd visit to Adelaide. Its 1st visit was nack on 25/63/13

It seems as though thews 2 aircraft were operating a charter of some sort, however it seems they also used Adelaide as a stopover port for the aircraft to swtich bases.

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines A320 VH-YUD (1st Visit)

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines A320 VH-YUD arrived from Perth at 09.55hrs as 'VA9057'. After overnighting, the aircraft departed back to Peth at 17.40hrs on Sunday 18/5/14 as 'VA9058'.

This was YUD's 1st visit to Adelaide, and it was also the 1st visit of a Virgin Australia Regional painted A320 to Adelaide. Sistership VH-FNP is also painted up in the Virgin Livery however has yet to visit in ti. It has visited a few times previously wearing its former owner Skywest,

Air Asia X A330-300 9M-XAA (1st Visit)

Air Asia X A330-300 9M-XAA arrived from Kuala Lumpur at 08.30hrs as 'D7246'. The aircraft departed at 10.20hrs as 'D7247' back to Kuala Lumpur. This aircraft is painted up in the airlines 'Now everyone can fly Xtra Long' livery

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It took XAA 6.5 months to finally make a visit, he reason for this can be put down to this aircraft having a completely different configuration to the other A330's in the fleet.

Qantas A330-200 VH-EBV diverts to Adelaide

Qantas Airways A330-202 VH-EBV operating 'QF480' from Perth-Melbourne diverted to Adelaide today due to an aircraft getting stranded on one of Melbourne Airports runway. 'QF480' arrived into Adelaide at 11.45hrs, after refueling the aircraft continued to Melbourne departing at 13.35hrs.

This was EBV's 2nd visit to Adelaide. Its 1st visit was back on 27/1/14. The aircraft does wear 'One World' Alliance titles on its fuselage.
